A strong field of competition entries came in from writers across the UK in prose, poetry and hybrid writing. All entrants are to be congratulated on the breadth of their engagement with creative writing on the medical humanities and the RCPSG collections. The judging team are pleased to announce the twelve shortlisted writers in this year’s competition, whose work was particularly impressive.

All shortlisted writers will be informed of the final prize decision by 18 October 2023, and the three prize winners will be announced at the launch event at RCPSG on 25 October 2023.
